Narendra Modi Ajmer Rally: Rajasthan Police Deploy Multi-Layered Security at Kayad Vishram Sthali
Ahead of Narendra Modi’s public rally at Kayad Vishram Sthali on February 28, the Rajasthan Police has put in place an extensive multi-layered security arrangement to ensure the smooth conduct of the high-profile event in Ajmer.
Nearly 2,000 police personnel will be deployed, along with five senior IPS officers assigned specific responsibilities related to security, parking management, crowd control, and maintaining law and order.
Senior IPS Officers Deployed
The Police Headquarters has deputed the following five IPS officers for the Prime Minister’s programme:
Vikas Sharma, DIG (Cyber Crime)
Abhishek Andaasu, SP Baran
Ratan Singh, SP Beawar
Rajesh Meena, SP Tonk
Mridul Kachhawa, SP Nagaur
Notably, Vikas Sharma and Abhishek Andaasu have previously served as trainee officers in Ajmer. All five officers have been directed to report to the IG, Ajmer Range, by February 26. They will oversee key aspects such as venue security, parking arrangements, and overall law and order during the rally.
Extensive Security Deployment
To manage the large gathering expected at the rally:
Over 2,000 police personnel will be deployed at the venue and surrounding areas.
Officers at the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) levels will supervise on-ground coordination.
Five companies of the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) have been stationed for crowd control and sensitive duty points.
Special focus is being given to traffic regulation, designated parking zones, and diversion plans to avoid congestion around the rally venue.
