The 1989 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, Anita Praveen, Joint Secretary in the Dept of Commerce has been accorded with the addl charge of the post of Chairman in the Agriculture & Processed Products Exports Development Authority(APEDA) under the Dept of Commerce for the period of three months wef 22 July 2016.
