ACC Extends Tenure of IOFS Officer Arti Chhabra Srivastava in Central Vigilance Commission Until 2027

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has granted approval to the proposal submitted by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for extending the central deputation tenure of Ms. Arti Chhabra Srivastava, a 1990-batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS). She is presently serving as Additional Secretary—at the Joint Secretary level—within the Central Vigilance Commission under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

According to the official order, Ms. Srivastava’s deputation has now been extended up to her date of superannuation, which falls on 31 January 2027. This extension surpasses her earlier approved tenure that was scheduled to conclude on 16 December 2025. The continuation will remain valid until her retirement or until further instructions from the government, whichever occurs earlier.

The decision reflects the government’s confidence in Ms. Srivastava’s expertise and contributions to the CVC’s ongoing anti-corruption oversight functions. Her extended tenure is expected to support continuity in key vigilance operations, policy implementation, and institutional strengthening across various departments.
