The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of IAS officer Aryaka Akhoury (UP cadre, 2013 batch) as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Government of India.

According to the official order issued by the DoPT, the appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Background of the Officer

Ms. Aryaka Akhoury is an IAS officer of the 2013 batch from the Uttar Pradesh cadre. Prior to this appointment, she was serving as Special Secretary in the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department of the Uttar Pradesh Government.
