Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Announces Appointment of New Central Prabhari Officers for Aspirational District Programme Across Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has conveyed that changes have been approved in the appointment of Central Prabhari Officers (CPOs) for several districts under the Aspirational District Programme. As per the latest directive, the following officers have been designated to take charge as CPOs for the respective districts:
Jamui (Bihar): Shri Niranjan Kumar Sudhansu, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Aurangabad (Bihar): Shri Manoj Kumar Gangeya, IRTS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal.
Yadgir (Karnataka): Dr. Ajay Nagabhushan M.N., IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
Raichur (Karnataka): Shri Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh, IAS, Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce.
Damoh (Madhya Pradesh): Shri Ajeet Kumar, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development.
Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): Shri Sudeep Shrivastava, IRSSE, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
Karauli (Rajasthan): Shri Vijay Nehra, IAS, Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Malkangiri (Odisha): Shri Mahmood Ahmed, IP&TA&FS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
Koraput (Odisha): Shri Satyajit Mishra, CSS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.
This reshuffling of officers under the Aspirational District Programme is aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating developmental initiatives in these identified districts.
The appointment of senior officers as Central Prabhari Officers is expected to enhance monitoring, coordination, and implementation of key schemes, thereby ensuring improved socio-economic outcomes in these regions.
