The 1984 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, R. Buhril has been appointed as Adviser, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs. Prior to this he was serving as Protector General of Emigrants, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs.
