CBI registered case against DGCA officer

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case of alleged graft against A. K. Sharan Joint Director General of country’s aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation for giving extension to a flying school in Bilaspur on the basis of irregular documents; the then Senior Pilot, DGCA (Since Retired); the then Airport Controller, AAI, Raipur (presently DGM, AAI) and Delhi based private company U/s 120-B IPC and Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of PC Act 1988.
The other members who are also indulge in this case are Senior Pilot, DGCA (Since Retired) Binodini Devi, the then Airport Controller, AAI, Raipur Prakash Shambharkar and Delhi based private company Sai Flytech Aviation Pvt Limited.
