Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Extends Central Deputation Tenure of Shri Manoj Sethi, ICAS (1993), as Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser in Department of Fertilizers
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has formally endorsed the proposal put forward by the Department of Fertilizers regarding the continuation of central deputation of Shri Manoj Sethi, a distinguished officer of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) belonging to the 1993 batch.
Shri Sethi, who currently serves as Joint Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Department of Fertilizers, has been granted an extension of his tenure for a further period of one year.
This extension will remain effective beyond February 4, 2026, and shall continue either until the completion of the approved one-year period or until any subsequent orders are issued by the competent authority, whichever occurs earlier.
The decision underscores the government’s confidence in Shri Sethi’s expertise and his ongoing contributions to the Department of Fertilizers in the sphere of financial administration and policy execution.
