The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the Department of Personnel and Training’s (DoPT) proposal to extend the central deputation tenure of Kuldeep Dwivedi, IPS (Jharkhand: 2005), who is currently serving as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
According to the order, Dwivedi’s tenure has been extended for an additional period of two years beyond January 17, 2026, making his total deputation period seven years. The extension will remain in effect until further orders or until the completion of the approved period, whichever is earlier.
Dwivedi, a 2005-batch officer of the Jharkhand cadre, has been serving with the CBI in a senior capacity, contributing to key investigations and operational oversight within the agency.
