Sameer Pandey’s Tenure Extended & Chandra Madhav Singh in New Administrative Role

Extension of Central Deputation Tenure of Mr Sameer Pandey, IRS (C&CE: 2010), Joint Commissioner (Director level), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under the Department of School Education & Literacy

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department of School Education & Literacy for the extension of the Central deputation tenure of Mr Sameer Pandey, IRS (C&CE: 2010), Joint Commissioner (Director level), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, under the Central Staffing Scheme, for a further period of two years beyond 05.11.2025 and up to 05.11.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Mr Sameer Pandey, IRS (C&CE: 2010), has been on Central deputation since 06.11.2020.

It may also be noted that, as per the directions of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) conveyed in DoP&T’s Circular No. 3/4/2004-EO(MM-I) dated 17 August 2005, an officer must join the post within three weeks from the date of issue of DoP&T’s appointment order, failing which the process of debarment from the Central Staffing Scheme shall be initiated.

On the other side Mr Chandra Madhav Singh  has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs. A year 2015 batch IRS (IRS, C&IT) officer Singh has been given a tenure of four years.
