Chief Secretaries of four states Maharashtra, Orissa, Tripura and Haryana has taken over the charge on 1 August, 2014. The names of the secretaries are:
- 1. The 1980 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, Swadheen S Kshatriya as new Chief Secretary of Maharashtra.
- 2. The 1978 batch IAS officer of Orissa cadre, Gokul Chandra Pati as new Chief Secretary of Orissa.
- 3. The 1983 batch IAS officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre,G Kameswara Rao as new Chief Secretary of Tripura.
- 4. The 1978 batch IAS officer, Ms Shakuntla Jakhu as new Chief Secretary of Haryana.
