Significance of the Reshuffle

The most prominent changes have taken place in the Revenue Department, with several movements at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and Additional District Magistrate (ADM) levels.
The restructuring also extends to MCD, Health & Family Welfare, Environment & Forest, and Finance & Planning, bringing new leadership to these key areas of governance.
With 23 officers reshuffled in one go, the move is expected to inject fresh dynamism, improve inter-departmental coordination, and strengthen the overall delivery of public services in the national capital.
