The 2003 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Ritu Maheshwari who is presently working as District Magistrate of Ghaziabad has been given additional charge of the post of Vice President of Ghaziabad Authority. Maheshwari who holds an electrical engineering degree from Chandigarh was executive director, Rural Electrification Corporation, under power ministry before she was transferred to Ghaziabad.
