IAS Ashu Mathur and IADS Pawan Kumar have been empaneled for holding Chief Advisor post.
Following the approval by Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), the proposal of the Department of Expenditure has been worked upon with the empanelment of two officers for promotion to the grade of Chief Advisor (Cost). This is under the Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS) for the panel year 2024 in level 17 of the Pay Matrix.
Significantly, IAS Ashu Mathur, empanelled in the regular panel, is scheduled to be retiring in January 2024 itself. Upon his retirement Pawan Kumar, empanelled in the extended panel, considerably is the officer next in line.
