Eight IPS officers transferred in Gujarat

As many as eight officers belonging to Indian Police Service have been transferred by Gujarat government. Accordingly,

  1. A. M. Muniya has been appointed as the new SP of Dang district.
  2. H. R. Chaudhary, who is currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Rajkot city appointed as SP of Gir-Somnath district.
  3. R. F. Sangada Surendranagar district SP has been transferred as DCP-Traffic in Surat.
  4. Dipak Meghani, SP-Intelligence in Gandhinagar appointed as SP of Surendranagar district .
  5. R. P. Barot, Amreli district SP  has been shifted to Surat as DCP, Zone-1.
  6. J. A. Patel, Zone-1 DCP in Surat, has been shifted as Amreli SP.
  7. G. V. Barot, Kutch-East SP has been appointed as the Commandant of State Reserve Police (SRP), Group-4, Dahod.
  8. H. R. Muliyana, serving as DCP-Crime in Vadodara, has been transferred as SRP Commandant, Group-12, Gandhinagar.
