The Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Defence Granted Approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has accorded its approval for the extension of the central deputation tenure of Longjam Siddhartha Singh, a 1994 batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), who is currently serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Defence.
The extension has been granted for a further period up to 12th May 2026 or until further orders are issued, whichever is earlier. This extension is in continuation of his existing central deputation and has been approved in accordance with the guidelines governing tenure and deployment of officers under the Central Staffing Scheme.
All concerned administrative authorities are requested to take necessary action for the continuation of Officer Singh’s assignment, update relevant service records accordingly, and ensure that the terms and conditions of deputation remain in compliance with applicable rules.
The Ministry of Defence may also ensure timely communication of any future developments regarding the tenure, should there be any proposal for curtailment or further extension beyond the approved period.
