The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue to extend the central deputation tenure of Mr Naval Kishor, a 2003-batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS), presently serving as Director in the Department of Revenue.
According to the order, his tenure has been extended by one year beyond October 28, 2025, up to October 28, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Mr Naval Kishor has been on central deputation since October 29, 2018, under the Central Staffing Scheme. During his tenure, he has been contributing to policy formulation and implementation in the Department of Revenue, which functions under the Ministry of Finance and plays a pivotal role in matters relating to taxation, fiscal policy, and revenue administration.
The extension of his deputation reflects the government’s recognition of his continued service and expertise in handling critical assignments within the Department of Revenue.
