ACC Approves Extension of Juhl Mukherjee’s Tenure and Additional Charge for Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved two key decisions. It has cleared the proposal of the Department of Economic Affairs to extend the central deputation tenure of Ms. Juhl Mukherjee, IAS (AGMUT: 2007), Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, for a further period of two years beyond October 13, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
In addition, the ACC has granted ex-post facto approval for assigning additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA), to Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda, IAS (OD: 1997), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. He will hold this charge for six months with effect from July 15, 2025, or until a regular incumbent is appointed, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
