Five officers have not been elevated to the grade of Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Central Board of Direct Tax (CBDT), Department of Revenue in the Ministry of Finance as they have been found unfit on the basis of their performance as reflected in ACRs/APARs. The names of the officers are:

- 3. P. R. Kubal
- 4. Subhendu Datta
- 5. Usha Iyer
