Gujarat: 2 IAS Officers Reassigned to Key Administrative Roles; Sangeeta Raiyani Appointed MD, ULM

In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Gujarat Government has reassigned two 2020-batch IAS officers to significant positions, according to a notification issued by the General Administration Department on May 21, 2025.

New Appointments

Ms. Sangeeta Govindbhai Raiyani, IAS, who was previously serving as Supernumerary Additional Collector in Kheda, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission, Gandhinagar. Her appointment relieves Ms. V.I. Patel, IAS, from the additional charge of the post.

Mr. Rohitbhai Nanubhai Dodiya, IAS, earlier posted as Supernumerary Additional Collector in Sabarkantha-Himmatnagar, has been named Additional Industries Commissioner, Gandhinagar. He replaces Mr. K.C. Sampat, IAS, who was handling the role as an additional charge.

These postings are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to optimize administrative leadership and enhance governance in critical development sectors.
