IPS 0fficer Harinath Mishra has been appointed as Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of IPS officer Harinath Mishra to the post of Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat. Mishra will replace IPS Swagat Das, (CG.1987) upon his superannuation on 30.11.2024.
Currently a year 1990 batch Kerala cadre senior IPS officer Harinath Mishra is serving as the Special Director, Intelligence Bureau. He will now be serving on his new position until further orders.
