Haryana: 6 Top Cops Transferred, Charu Bali Appointed ADGP Vigilance & Anti-Corruption

In a significant administrative move, the Nayab Singh Saini-led Haryana government has ordered the transfer of six senior IPS officers, including Additional Directors General of Police (ADGPs) and Inspectors General of Police (IGPs), with immediate effect. The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening law enforcement, enhancing vigilance, and streamlining administrative efficiency across the state.

According to an official notification issued by the Home Department, the following changes have been approved:

Ms. Charu Bali (HY:1995): Currently ADGP/RTC, Bhondsi, Gurugram, with additional charge of Bhondsi Police Complex, she has now been entrusted with the additional responsibility of ADGP, State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Haryana.

Mr. Y. Puran Kumar (HY:2001): Serving as ADGP, Rohtak Range, he has been appointed as IG, PTC Sunaria, Rohtak.

Mr. Maneesh Chaudhary (HY:2005): Earlier holding dual charge as IGP/CID, Haryana and IG, Railways & Commando, Haryana, he will now serve exclusively as IG, Railways & Commando, Panchkula, after being relieved of the CID assignment.

Mr. Ashok Kumar (HY:2006): Formerly IG/PTC Sunaria, Rohtak, he has been transferred as IGP/CID, Haryana.

Mr. Simardeep Singh (HY:2007): Previously IGP/Law & Order (H) and IGP/IRB, Bhondsi, he has been reassigned as IGP, Rohtak Range and will continue to hold charge as IGP, IRB, Bhondsi.

Mr. Kuldeep Singh (HY:2007): Earlier IGP/AAC Panchkula & IGP/HSENB, Panchkula, he will now function as IGP, HSENB, Panchkula, and has additionally been assigned the post of IGP, Law & Order (H).

The order was signed by Dr. Sumita Misra, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Government of Haryana.

Officials noted that the transfers form part of the government’s broader effort to tighten vigilance, curb corruption, and boost efficiency in key policing domains such as law and order, training, and specialized enforcement units.
