Haryana Promotes Two Senior IPS Officers to ADGP Rank: Sibash Kabiraj and Dr Rajshree Singh Elevated

The Haryana government has announced the promotion of two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from the 1999 batch. On Monday (December 1), officers Sibash Kabiraj and Dr. Rajshree Singh were elevated from the post of Inspector General of Police (IG) to the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).

Sibash Kabiraj: Moves Up to ADGP Rank

Sibash Kabiraj, who is currently heading the Panchkula Police as Commissioner, has received a promotion to ADGP. He took charge as Panchkula CP in April 2025 after previously serving as the Inspector General of Police for the Ambala Range. His professional journey includes several meaningful assignments across Haryana, and this promotion acknowledges his effective leadership and solid record in policing.

Dr. Rajshree Singh: Recognized for Strong Performance

Dr. Rajshree Singh, who is presently posted as the Commissioner of Police in Jhajjar, has also been elevated to the ADGP rank. She began her tenure as Jhajjar CP in April 2025 and has handled multiple major responsibilities in Haryana’s police administration. Her promotion highlights her committed service, strategic abilities, and steady contribution to law-and-order management in the state.
