The Haryana government has implemented a fresh round of senior-level bureaucratic reshuffling, expanding the responsibilities of two senior IAS officers.

Mr. Vijendra Kumar, a 1995-batch IAS officer, has been entrusted with additional charge of the Public Works Department (Buildings & Roads) and Architecture. This development follows the leave of the current incumbent, Mr. Anurag Agarwal.

In another significant move, Mr. Mohammad Shayin has been appointed as the head of the Irrigation Department. He will also hold additional responsibility for the Water Resources portfolio.

These appointments are part of the state’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functions and ensure continuity in key infrastructure and resource departments.
