IPS Officer Anupama Nilekar Chandra Appointed Director General (Investigation) of National Human Rights Commission
In a significant administrative decision, the Government of India has approved the appointment of senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Anupama Nilekar Chandra to the post of Director General (Investigation) at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
Under the official order, Ms. Chandra has been entrusted with heading the investigation wing of the country’s apex human rights watchdog.
