IPS Ashwini Shenvi has been appointed as the new Joint Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal
of Department of Personnel and Training for appointment of IPS officer Ashwin Shenvi.
A year 2006 batch senior IPS officer Ashwin Shenvi (HR) is at present serving as DIG, CBI as Joint Director, CBI. Now with the order he will be handling new charge from the date of assumption of charge of the post for an overall tenure of five years up to 06.09.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
