The 1978 batch IRS officer is expected to join as new Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), the Apex Income Tax Authority as the incumbent Chairman R K Tewari is retiring on 31 July. Presently K V Chaudhary is working as Member (investigation), CBDT.
