In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of Karnataka has transferred and assigned postings to 13 IAS officers, introducing significant changes across multiple departments and districts. The reallocation, announced on July 8, 2025, reflects the state’s efforts to reinforce district administration and streamline governance.
Two key district-level appointments include
Dr. Anandh K (IAS:2016) has been made the new Deputy Commissioner of Vijayapura, replacing Bhoobalan T, who moves to Bengaluru as Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for e-Governance.
Bhoyar Harshal Narayanrao (IAS:2016) will now serve as Deputy Commissioner of Yadgir. He takes over from Dr. Susheela B, who has been appointed Managing Director of the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation in Kalaburagi.
Several senior officers have also been reassigned to pivotal roles
Zehera Naseem (IAS:2013), formerly the Managing Director of Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation, has been posted as Regional Commissioner of the Kalaburagi Division.
Pandve Rahul Tukaram (IAS:2016) moves to the post of Additional Commissioner for Public Instruction, Kalaburagi, while Iswar Kumar Kandoo (IAS:2018) takes over his previous role as CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Raichur.
Dr. Dileesh Sasi (IAS:2017) transitions from the Centre for e-Governance to become CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Uttara Kannada, replacing Kandoo.
Shashidhar Kurera (IAS:2018) will now serve as Joint Managing Director at Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), Bengaluru.
Akash S (IAS:2019) steps in as CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Bagalkot, after serving as Additional Commissioner for Public Instruction in Kalaburagi.
New postings were also announced for junior officers
Aparna Ramesh (IAS:2021) has been appointed Director of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services (EDCS) under the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms. She also assumes additional charge as Deputy Project Director, HRMS 2.0 in the Finance Department.
Narwade Vinayak Karbhari (IAS:2021), previously stationed in Madikeri, has been named CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru.
Yatish R (IAS:2021) takes charge as CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Bengaluru Urban, following his tenure as Director at EDCS.
