ACC Approves Appointment of Krishna V R as Director of 8th Central Pay Commission

Shri Krishna V R, a seasoned 2009-batch officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), is currently serving as a Director in the Department of Revenue. He will now transition to the Department of Expenditure on a lateral shift basis to serve as Director for the 8th CPC.

The appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme and is on a co-terminus basis with the 8th Central Pay Commission. The key details of his tenure include:
Duration: The appointment is extendable up to September 17, 2029 (representing the remaining portion of his admissible five-year tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme).
Effective Date: His central deputation tenure officially counts from September 18, 2024.
Immediate Relief: The ACC has directed that the officer be relieved of his current duties in the Department of Revenue immediately to assume his new assignment.
