In the latest round of central postings, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has announced significant deputation appointments of two officers to key roles.

Mr. Kurma Rao M, a 2011 batch IAS officer from the Karnataka cadre, has been appointed as Secretary (Director level) of the Coffee Board in Bengaluru under the Department of Commerce. His appointment is on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This is a Non-Central Staffing Scheme (Non-CSS) position.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jinesh Mohan, a 2014 batch officer of the Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Biotechnology. These postings are part of the routine administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing efficiency across key departments at the central level.
