IAS officers Manmeet Kaur Nanda, and Rajat Agrawal have been assigned Joint Secy roles.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IAS Manmeet Kaur Nanda (WB:2000) as Joint Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. With an extension of central deputation tenure, he has been given a work tenure of one year beyond 10.11.2024, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav, lAS (RJ:1996).
On the other hand, appointment of IAS Rajat Agarwal (PB:2003) has also been approved as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. He will be serving for an overall tenure of five years upto 13.02.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, against a vacant post of Joint Secretary.
