As many as six IAS officers of West Bengal have been transferred and posted locally. The officers are:
- Kaushik Bhattacharya appointed as District Magistrate Malda.
- Sharad Kumar Dwivedi appointed as Executive Director in WBIDC.
- Tanmay Chakraborty appointed as Joint Secretary in the Tourism Department.
- Rajarshi Mitra as Commissioner Howrah Municipal Corporation.
- Arun Prasad as Chief Executive officer in Asansol Durgapur Development Authority.
- Dr. Ulaganathan appointed as District Magistrate in Murshidabad.
