The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared two senior-level postings in the Ministry of Home Affairs and NITI Aayog.
IDAS officer Arvind Khare (2000), has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He succeeds Mr Abhijit Sinha, IAS (NL:2000).
On the other hand a year 1996 batch senior IRSME officer Archana Mittal, has been appointed as Adviser (Joint Secretary level), NITI Aayog, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She replaces Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, IAS (CG:1994).
