As many as 9 IAS officers have been transferred and posted locally by Bihar Government. The officers are
- Amir Subhani, Home Department’s Principal Secretary has been given additional charge of Registration, Excise and Prohibition Department.
- K. K. Pathak, Excise and Prohibition Department’s Principal Secretary has gone on long leave reportedly in protest against the arrest of an official of his department who acted against a block-level JD(U) leader,has been transferred, but kept in waiting for posting till further orders.
- Education department’s Principal Secretary Dharmendra Singh Gangwar has been made Principal Secretary of General Administration Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal Secretary of Vigilance Department.
- R. K. Mahajan, Principal Secretary in the Health Department has been made Principal Secretary in the Education Department, Patna.
- Vivek Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary in the Department of Environment & Forest, Patna has been made Principal Secretary, Department of Revenue & Land Reforms.
- Pratyay Amrit, Principal Secretary in the Energy Department has been made as Principal Secretary, Disaster Management Department, Bihar.
- Jitendra Srivastava, Executive Director in the State Health Society has been made as Upper Secretary, Health Department.
- Pradeep Kumar Jha, Upper Secretary, Health Department has been made as Managing Director in Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation Limited(BMSICL).
- Shashi Bhushan Kumar, Upper Secretary in the Dept of Animal Husbandry & Fisheries has been made as Upper Secretary in Health Department.
