Philips India appoints V Raja as new MD

Philips India has appointed V Raja as the vice-chairman and managing director with effect from December 1. In his new role, Raja will be responsible for driving and building the Healthcare and Consumer Lifestyle businesses for Philips in India, the company said in a statement. He will take over from A Krishna Kumar, who moved to a new role effective from September 1 as Head of the Emerging Businesses Group for Philips globally and is based in Netherlands.
