Government Announces Appointment of New Central Nodal Officers to Oversee Aspirational Agricultural Districts under Prime Minister Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana
In continuation of this office’s earlier Office Memorandum dated October 3, 2025, concerning the review and monitoring of the Aspirational Agricultural Districts under the Prime Minister Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY), and subsequent amendments issued from time to time as detailed in the enclosed Appendix, it is hereby conveyed that the Central Nodal Officers (CNOs) designated for the identified districts have been reconstituted.
Accordingly, the officers previously entrusted with these responsibilities stand replaced, and new appointments have been made in their stead. The updated list of Central Nodal Officers, along with the respective districts assigned to them, is provided in the Annexure attached to this communication.
This decision has been taken to strengthen the institutional framework for monitoring, evaluation, and effective implementation of the PMDDKY across the aspirational agricultural districts.
The appointment of new officers is expected to enhance accountability, streamline oversight, and ensure that the objectives of the scheme—namely, improving agricultural productivity, farmer welfare, and rural prosperity—are achieved in a more coordinated and result-oriented manner.
