Joint Secretary Lakhpat Singh Choudhary Prematurely Repatriated to Parent Cadre from Ministry of Coal on Personal Grounds

In an official administrative decision, the Government of India has approved the Ministry of Coal’s proposal for the premature repatriation of senior Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer Shri Lakhpat Singh Choudhary, who has been serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry.

The competent authority has formally cleared his return to his parent cadre, bringing his central deputation tenure in the Ministry of Coal to an early conclusion. The repatriation has been sanctioned on personal grounds, as per the proposal submitted by the Ministry.

Shri Choudhary, an officer of the 1997 batch of the Indian Railway Stores Service, will now resume his services within his original cadre following the issuance of the necessary relieving and joining orders.

This administrative move is part of the regular cadre management process undertaken by the central government to accommodate officers’ personal considerations while maintaining institutional continuity.
