IRS officer Leyakat A Afaqui has been allowed a premature repatriation.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Minority Affairs for premature repatriation of IRS officer Leyakat A Afaqui. He has been repatriated to his parent cadre with condition of extended cooling off.
A year 2008 batch IRS officer Leyakat A Afaqui is at present serving as Director, Ministry of Minority Affairs. He is expected to be relieved of his duties so that he could report to his parent cadre.
