Punjab Government Reshuffles 79 Police Officers Ahead of Local Body Elections: Major Changes in IPS and DSP Ranks

Surinderjit Singh Mand Appointed DIG, Prisons
IPS officer Surinderjit Singh Mand has been moved to the Prisons Department, where he will serve as DIG, Prisons. His posting is expected to help improve prison management and internal security within the department.
New Assignments for AIG-Rank Officers
Kanwaldeep Singh, IPS – Appointed AIG Crime, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab, Chandigarh. His role will support stronger crime tracking and investigations across the state.
