Rahul courts controversy after visiting Amethi poll booths

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who for the first time visited his constituency, Amethi, on polling day ever since he has represented the seat since 2004, entered the voting compartment during election hours in at least three booths has made a controversial act and both the BJP and AAP alleged that the Congress is trying to influence voters on election day.

The circulating images showed Rahul Gandhi interacting with voters, looking at the EVM at polling booths on Wednesday while polling was on for the Amethi Lok Sabha seat.
