Rakesh Singh appointed new Secretary in the M/o Steel

The 1978 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre, Rakesh Singh has been appointed as new Secretary to the Ministry of Steel in the Government of India. Prior to this Singh was serving in the cadre. Rakesh Singh will take over the charge from G Mohan Kumar, a 1979 batch IAS officer of Odisha cadre as Kumar has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Defence Production, as an order issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
