ACC Approves Additional Charge of Director General, MANAGE Hyderabad to Sagar Hanuman Singh Till March 2026
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for the entrustment of additional charge of the post of Director General (Joint Secretary level) at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management.
According to the official order, the additional responsibility has been assigned to Shri Sagar Hanuman Singh, who is presently serving as Director General of the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM).
He will hold the additional charge with effect from October 6, 2025, until March 29, 2026, or until a regular incumbent is appointed to the post, or until further orders are issued—whichever is earlier.
The decision ensures continuity in leadership at the Hyderabad-based agricultural extension institute while the process for appointing a full-time Director General is underway.
