The 1988 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, Sanjay Ambadas Chahande has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Mumbai at Joint Secretary level under the Dept of Electronics & Information Technology, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology.
