ACC Approves Key IAS Reshuffle: Sanjay Jaju Shifted to DoNER, Srivatsa Krishna Takes Charge of Minority Affairs Ministry
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has sanctioned a fresh round of senior-level bureaucratic reshuffles, bringing experienced leadership into key ministries.
Shri Sanjay Jaju (IAS, Telangana cadre, 1992 batch), who has been serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has now been appointed as Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER). He will assume this role in place of Shri Chanchal Kumar (IAS, Bihar cadre, 1992 batch), who has been reassigned as Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
In another significant appointment, Shri Srivatsa Krishna (IAS, Karnataka cadre, 1994 batch), currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, has been designated as Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He succeeds Shri Chandra Sekhar Kumar (IAS, Odisha cadre, 1992 batch), who has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Rainfed Area Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
These appointments are part of the government’s broader strategy to ensure effective governance by aligning senior administrative leadership with key policy areas and developmental priorities.
