IAS officers Sanjay Kumar and Ajeet Kumar have been entrusted with new administrative roles with the appointment as Joint Secretary.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of IAS officers Sanjay Kumar and Ajeet Kumar at Joint Secretary / Joint Secretary equivalent level.
A year 2008 batch IAS officer Sanjay Kumar (UT) has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India for an overall tenure of five years upto 26/01/2027.
Simultaneously, IAS officer Ajeet Kumar (MP:2002) has been designated as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India for a tenure of five years or until further orders.
