Senior IRS officers Santosh Kumar Verma & Samar Nanda have been assigned new administrative responsibilities at the Centre.
Following a recently issued directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, names of Senior IRS officers Santosh Kumar Verma & Samar Nanda have been mandated for new administrative roles at the Centre.
On one hand Santosh Kumar Verma, IRSS (1995), has been posted as Joint Secretary. Department of Consumer Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, IRS officer Samar Nanda, IRS (C&IT) (2004), has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, from the date of asSsumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders.
