As per a recent notification from the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of IAS Saurabh Garg has been mandated for the position as Secretary, Statistics.
A year 1991 batch IAS officer from Odisha cadre Saurabh Garg is now with the new order going to assume charge as Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation shortly.
