Shailesh Kumar Singh, IAS, Entrusted with Additional Charge as Secretary, Department of Land Resources
The Competent Authority has formally sanctioned the entrustment of additional responsibilities of the post of Secretary, Department of Land Resources to Mr Shailesh Kumar Singh, IAS (Jharkhand Cadre: 1991).
Mr Singh, who is presently serving as Secretary, Department of Rural Development, will assume the additional portfolio with immediate effect. He will continue to hold this charge until a regular incumbent is appointed to the post or until further instructions are issued by the Government, whichever occurs earlier.
The approval has been accorded to ensure uninterrupted administrative functioning and continuity of work in the Department of Land Resources during the interim period.
