Former chief of NIA Sharad Kumar is to head BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit.
As per a recent directive issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of retired IPS officer Sharad Kumar has been mandated for the position of Director, BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit.
A year 1979 batch retired IPS officer from Haryana cadre, Sharad Kumar has earlier worked as the Director of the National Investigating Agency (NIA). Now he will serve BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) for a three-year term.
