Suganya K, ITradeS (2013) Selected as Deputy Secretary in NATGRID Under Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi
Ms. Suganya K., an officer of the Indian Trade Service (ITradeS), 2013 batch, has been formally selected for appointment to the post of Deputy Secretary in the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
Her name was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Commerce, following which the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved her induction into the Central Staffing Scheme. The appointment has been made for a tenure of four years, which will be calculated from the date she formally assumes charge of the post, or until further government orders are issued, whichever occurs earlier.
Ms. Suganya K. has been directed to be relieved from her present responsibilities with immediate effect to enable her to proceed to New Delhi and take over her new assignment at NATGRID without delay. Her posting to this sensitive and strategically important organization underscores the government’s emphasis on strengthening national security infrastructure through experienced officers.
The order further reiterates that, in accordance with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T) Circular No. 314/2004-EO(MM-I) dated 17 August 2005, all officers appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme are required to join their new posting within a period of three weeks from the date of issuance of the appointment order.
